Description

Coming off our sold-out production Fish and Dicks: Case Files from the Digby Neck & Islands Fish-Gutting Service & Detective Agency (nominated for a Merritt award for Outstanding New Nova Scotia Adaptation), Caravan is pleased to announce its next production.

Comedy Caravan: On the Road Again – an evening of hilarious sketch comedy poking fun at current events and human foibles. All new material, with 40% more nonsense!

Canada: He’s not respecting my boundaries.

Counsellor: That must be very taxing….

Canada: Oh don’t get me started on that subject!

US: See? She starts talking like that and it’s like a wall goes up. Not listening!

Oh no! Can couples counselling save Canada and the US? Can a word association game bring them back together?

Does the plumber get the girl in the opera The Plumber Cometh? Who’s left alive at the end of the Slasher Musical? Witness two senior women reclaiming their power as they sort through old clothes and dreams that no longer fit. Summer camp, Google, cannibals, and dating troubles – we find the wild and whacky within it all.

The road trip you didn’t ask for (but definitely need)! Join Valley actors Alan Slipp, Thea Burton, Kathy France, Ross Chapman and Antonella Ponce for an evening of side-splitting laughter. Get your tickets early – Caravan’s productions sell out quickly.

Comedy Caravan: On the Road Again plays at Wolfville’s Al Whittle Theatre on April 24 (7pm) and April 25 (2pm and 7pm) with a pay-what-you-can (at the door) preview on April 22 (7pm). Tickets $25 ($20 student/under-waged). Appropriate for ages 16+
